Archilyse closes funding round raising CHF 4 million to boost digitisation in real estate

We are thrilled to announce the closing of the Series A funding round. After two preceding fundings in 2017 and 2018 with a volume of CHF 1.2 million, Archilyse now finalised the first closing with CHF 3 million which will be followed by a second round of additional CHF 1 million in mid-2020.

Reaching this milestone proves that DeepTech continues to attract venture capital investors in the PropTech domain.

This round’s lead investor is PropTech1 Ventures, Germany’s first venture capital fund specialed in European PropTech startups. Just recently the VC presented its study on the European Proptech Trends in 2020.

The co-leads are SIX Group AG and Swiss Immo Lab AG. Swiss Immo Lab is a corporate venturing program of currently three founding partners (Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG, Gebäudeversicherung Bern and Avobis Group AG) managed by The program was launched in December 2019. It brings together incumbent companies and startups related to construction and real estate. The investment in Archilyse is the first startup investment for Swiss Immo Lab.

SIX FinTech Venture is the corporate venture capital fund of SIX Group AG that invests in global early-stage startups. The aim is to provide the Swiss Financial Center with cutting edge technologies, business models, and solutions with superb customer experience. SIX is the trusted partner for start-ups to support their growth journey.

Zurich-based DeepTech Ventures as well as investors from the previous rounds i.a. Ringier Digital Ventures and Zürcher Kantonalbank complete the Series A investors.

Key initiatives for 2020 include the continued extension of the product offering and the launch of an easy-to-use web application. Furthermore, Archilyse will intensify the expansion of its market presence with a focus on the DACH region, the Nordics, the UK and selected destinations within the APAC region.

Already before this Series A round, Archilyse found vast recognition in the PropTech world with nominations by The Real Estate Innovation Network and Expo Real as Top25 Prop Tech startup in Europe and “Next Global Hot Thing” at the Digital Economy Award Switzerland. Archilyse was a finalist at the NZZ Trend Radar and at the PropTech Innovation Award 2019, ranked amongst the Top 10 Startup at Accelerate Workshop and won the Innosuisse Core Coaching in 2019.
